Happy Independence Day! Tornado Terry’s will be closed in celebration on July 4th, 2020.

Face coverings required at all businesses to fight COVID-19
Posted June 25, 2020

Face coverings are now required in all Fort Worth businesses and at outdoor gatherings with more than 100 people. Mayor Betsy Price issued an executive order on Thursday June 25 that goes into effect at 6 p.m. Friday and continues through 6 a.m. Aug. 3.

Tarrant County issued a similar order on Thursday.

Businesses are required to adopt a Health and Safety Policy that requires employees and visitors to wear face coverings. Businesses that don’t comply could face a fine of up to $500. The mayor’s order allows “any peace officer” to enforce the rule.

The order does not include churches.

Besides wearing face coverings, residents are asked to maintain social distancing of at least six feet from others when they’re outside of their own homes. But those who have a “significant mental or physical health risk” to wearing a mask do not have to comply, according to the ordinance.

The inherent risks of exposure to COVID-19 associated with public interaction are well publicized. We cannot guarantee guests will not be exposed while visiting Tornado Terry’s.

Each guest should review the risks of exposure on their local health department’s website and other relevant government websites to evaluate their own risk, and the risks to their children and elderly or infirm household members when deciding to visit. By choosing to visit Tornado Terry’s, you are voluntarily assuming all associated risks.

Tornado Terry’s values our Guests and Team Members. We’ve worked hard to implement the necessary steps outlined in the Guidelines for Reopening issued by the State while maintaining as much of the traditional Tornado Terry’s experience as possible.

We are allowed to open with a 50% capacity. This will be adjusted as new guidelines are released.

Please practice social distancing and respiratory etiquette at all times.

Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer frequently. Everyone must use hand sanitizer upon entering the building.

Guests are required by both the City of Fort Worth and Tarrant County to wear face coverings. Please bring whatever PPE you feel is necessary for your own circumstances.

Shields have been set up at the counters to limit respiratory interaction between guests and staff.

No outside food or drinks will be allowed. Please leave large bags, purses and backpacks at home, or lock them out of sight in your vehicle. No space is available for storing personal items, and they cannot be left sitting on tables, chairs, benches or other touch surfaces.

Distancing requirements necessitated expanded spacing between games on the floor, and the removal or disabling of some machines to effectively accomplish this task. This is fluid and will change as the requirements change.

In the concession area, half of the tables have been removed, and the remaining tables have been appropriately distanced. Please understand this limitation requires the tables to be free for guests who wish to enjoy refreshments during their visit. Benches have been spaced accordingly for guests who just need to take a break for a few minutes.

We truly appreciate our guests’ active participation in helping to limit the potential of exposure by wiping each game’s touch surfaces after play, much like we do at the gym. Cleaning stations with disinfecting supplies have been set up in each game room for guest use. A Team Member will periodically wipe down games and equipment during the day, and the entire facility will be cleaned after close each night.

Until capacity and spacing requirements are lifted, the party room will remain closed.

Additional practices may be implemented on site. Please read all posted signage. Check back here for updates.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
